He is a highly qualified Rheumatologist (passed his D.M from prestigious Madras Medical College) with experience in managing diseases like Rheumatoid arthritis, spondyloarthropathy, gout and other crystal arthropathies, SLE (lupus), systemic sclerosis, vasculitis, sjogrens syndrome, soft tissue rheumatism, osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia etc.
