Dr. Anurag Shrimal is an Abdominal Organ Transplantation & HPB Surgeon par excellence. Dr. Shrimal started his career in medicine at the prestigious Seth G S Medical College & KEM Hospital Mumbai. After completing his MBBS with several distinctions he pursued Masters in General Surgery at Seth G S Medical College & KEM Hospital, Mumbai and Surgical Oncology training at Tata Memorial Centre, Mumbai. He received American Society of Transplant Surgeons accredited Fellowship in Liver & Kidney Transplant at the Duke University Medical Center, Durham, NC, USA. He is trained in Liver Transplant, Kidney Transplant, Pancreas Transplant, Intestine Transplant and Multi-visceral Transplant during his tenure at Duke University. Duke University Medical Centre’s Liver Transplant Program is well known for the best liver transplant outcomes in the USA. To further enhance his skills in Living Donor Liver Transplant, he pursued a Visiting Scholarship at Asan Medical Center, Seoul, South Korea. He was a Consultant, Abdominal Organ Transplant and HPB Surgeon at Apollo Hospital, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad. His special area of interest are Living Donor Liver Transplant, Pediatric Liver Transplant, Split Liver Transplants from Deceased Donors, Pancreas Transplant and HPB Surgery. Dr. Anurag Shrimal is currently a Consultant, Abdominal Organ Transplantation and HPB Surgeon at Wockhardt Group of Hospitals, India.
