Dr. Richie Gupta has been in clinical practice in the field of Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery, since past 24 years. He is widely experienced in all aspects of Plastic Surgery. He is one of the leading surgeons in the country in the field of Sex Change Surgery and Cleft Lip and Palate Surgery. He also has a special interest in micro-vascular surgery and complex reconstructions in cases of trauma, birth defects and post cancer resections. He is an invited faculty at various Plastic Surgery, Aesthetic Surgery and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery conferences in the country. An alumni of Maulana Azad Medical College and associated LNJP and GB Pant Hospitals, Delhi, Dr. Richie completed his M.S. in Surgery in 1990. He completed his M.Ch.in Plastic Surgery from Armed Forces Medical College and associated Command Hospital in Pune in 1993.Dr. Richie has previously worked as Visiting Clinical Professor at Subharti Institute of Medical Sciences, Meerut. He was also the Director of Smile Train Project at Subharti, and later, Sunderlal Jain Hospital, where he carried out hundreds of free operations in children with cleft lip and cleft palate, a common birth defect.
