According to experts, there is a “proper cure” for erectile dysfunction, but men are more likely to face marital breakdowns because of their sexual problems because they are not comfortable to express their problems. We are talking about penile implant surgery, in which devices are placed inside the penis to provide erection to men who have erections.
Life would have been a smoother journey if 52-year-old Mohammad Osman (name changed) had not been frustrated with her life. Hugh, who suffered from erectile dysfunction (masculinity), was forced to divorce twice – leading to frustration and no hope of a happy life.
As a senior civil servant, Osman problem – inability to maintain erection during intercourse – is not uncommon. 28-year-old Sumanjit Sikdar faced a similar situation when he was six months old and was bitten by a stray dog. The dog had bitten most of his penis, which gradually became an obstacle as he reached the age of marriage.
Urologists in India, erectile dysfunction is not a “new problem in society”, about 50% of men in India have this condition.
According to experts, there is a “proper cure” for erectile dysfunction, but men are more likely to face marital breakdowns because of their sexual problems because they are not comfortable to express their problems.
After being dissatisfied with their friends’ suggestions for treatment, Osman and Sikdar finally went to the medical professionals and gave them hope.
Both men were asked to undergo penile implant surgery in India, which involves placing devices inside the penis to allow men with erectile dysfunction.
When Osman was willing to pay anything close to Rs 10 lakh to cure his condition, he underwent an inflatable penis implant, Sikdar underwent semi-rigid penile implant surgery, which cost him less than an inflatable implant, but offered effective treatment.
All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Department of Urology Dogra says sentence implants are of two types – semi-rigid and inflamed.
In Inflatable Penile Implant surgeries, cylinders (placed inside the body) fill in blood during an erection to transplant fluffy tissue inside the penis. These implants come in a variety of diameters and lengths and can range from Rs 1 lakh to 8 lakh,” Dogra told. Surgeries are very popular in the West.
However, it is the most common semi-rigid or inflamed implant in India. It costs Rs 1 lakh excluding surgery.
“Such implants are firm and they can be flexed in different positions,” Dogra told.
Another thing about implant surgery is that the partner is not aware of the implant.
Experts classify disability as psychological and physical. Psychological dysfunction can be caused by a man’s fear that performance tension cannot lead to sex, physical disability is caused by abnormalities in the penis arteries, nerves, and smooth muscles, causing blockage in the bloodstream.
Although implants are a solution, other prescription drugs, such as penis erection oils or Viagra tablets, should only be used when cures are ineffective, Dogra said.
Osman, who recently married for the third time, told that the level of satisfaction during intercourse is “similar to that of natural intercourse.”
Dr. Vineet Malhotra, senior consultant urologist in Delhi Diyos Hospital ,
Safdarjung Enclave, said: Although ejaculation and ejaculation are not confirmed, implants do not interfere with ejaculation.
He said inflatable implants and inflatable devices will last indefinitely.
Urologist added that inability to complete after marriage is a cause of separation in India.
“It is important for men to understand the importance of such implants in an era when women do not want to stick with a man with low sexual consumption levels,” Malhotra told.
Dr. Mayank Gupta, a urologist at Sharda Hospital, agreed.
Gupta told: “People in India need to understand that covering up erectile dysfunction can slow down their lives, lead to family tensions and, in the worst case, divorce.
These implants are also useful when a woman wants to undergo a sex change, she said.
“In the coming years, the use of implants will certainly grow. The community is changing. People want to live better and happier lives. If technology gives a helping hand, everyone wants to use it. Why not?” Gupta said. .
