Dr. Vidyadhara S is a Consultant – Spine Care in Manipal Hospital, HAL Airport Road. Till date, he has performed over 6000 successful spinal surgeries and routinely performs about 600 procedures annually. In his 15 years of career, He has worked in most reputed centers of excellence in spine surgery across the globe. He had a very distinguished academic and clinical career and has been awarded the ISCA Young Scientist Award from the then President of India, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam in 2006, Lester Lowe SICOT Award in 2007 and ISSLS Best Research Award in 2010. In 2012, Dr. Vidyadhara S was also recognized as the third Indian winning the prestigious SRS Traveling Fellowship to visit the best centers for Spine Surgery in the USA. Dr. Vidyadhara S is fifth Indian and first from Karnataka to have been awarded active fellowship of Scoliosis Research Society of USA.
