He has done his MBBS from the renowned King Edward Memorial Hospital and Seth Gordhandas Sunderdas Medical College in 1983. Dr. Jayesh Shah later went on to pursue MS in Orthopaedics from the King Edward Memorial Hospital and Seth Gordhandas Sunderdas Medical College in 1986.
