Ideally located in South Mumbai, overlooking the majestic Arabian Sea, stands The Saifee Hospital, a state of the art, multi speciality hospital. Inaugurated on June 4, 2005 by the Honourable Prime Minister of India, Dr. Manmohan Singh, the hospital opened its doors for the service of humanity.
It was the culmination of a noble desire by His Holiness Dr. Syedna Mohammad Burhanuddin (TUS), to build a hospital that would cater to the essential healthcare needs of the common man and dedicate it to the memory of his revered father, Dr.Syedna Taher Saifuddin.

Beds
Variety of bed types are made available to suit the requirements of patients keeping in mind their convenience and affordability.
Bed Types range from Deluxe to First Class to A class. Under these categories each patient is entitled to a private room and bath. Under Twin sharing category, two patients have individual beds in a room but share the room and the bath. For convenience of relatives of patients, a couch is also provided along with each bed in this class.
Beds are also available under General category and Economy category. For critical care of patients, we have 37 beds in ICU. We also have NICU beds for new born babies requiring special care.
20 Consulting Rooms
The hospital has 20 consulting rooms. Each of these are suitably equipped for doctors to interview and examine his patient in a comfortable environment.
Each room is equipped with a computer which enables the doctor to give prescriptions / diagnostic tests for the patient to collect the medicines and undergo the prescribed tests in the diagnostic departments.
7 Operation Theatres (OT)
The hospital has seven operation theatres which are well-equipped with the most modern and specialised equipments relevant for the types of surgeries performed. A couple of theatres are also equipped with facility for capturing videos of operations.
The hospital maintains up-to-date communication facilities having access to internet, intranet and video conferencing.
Facility also exists to send SMS through use of computers to keep the consultants posted on the developments regarding their patients, as also to contact them in the event of an emergency.
