Dr. Sushant Srivastava is a Director & Senior Consultant of Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgery at the BLK Super Speciality Hospital, New Delhi. His medical qualifications include an MBBS, an MS in General Surgery, a MCh. In CTVS from the most prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), and has also undergone extensive training in ventricular assist devices at Philadelphia, USA. He has previously been the Chief Cardiac Surgeon at the Batra Hospital & Medical Research Centre, New Delhi ; and has also been a Senior Consultant of Cardiac Surgery at the Devki Devi Max Heart & Vascular Institute. He has also been a faculty of AIIMS as Assistant Professor of CTVS. In his 23 years of medical practice, Dr. Srivastava has performed over 3000 cardiac procedures at AIIMS alone, and has a total experience of a gigantic 7000 cases. He has also performed the successful beating heart bypass on the oldest patient in India, 96 years old Mr. J.C. Mehta from New Delhi.
