His acheivements include starting invasive cardiology programme in the first private sector cardiac Cathlab of north India at National heart Institute in 1984. Dr. Sunil Modi has had training of complex Cardiac interventional techniques at University of Otago, Dunedin, New Zealand and St Vincents Hospital, Sydney, Australia in 1991. He is previledged to be one of the first ones to start Coronary angioplasty and Stenting in North India in private sector. He is a member of several prestigious medical associations and Fellow of American College of Cardiology, Indian College of Cardiology and Cardiological Society of India. He has been instrumental in starting DNB cardiology programme at National Heart Institute and at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital in New Delhi.
