Dr. KK Kapoor With a vast experience of above three decades, Dr. KK Kapoor is an eminent Cardiologist associated with the Indraprastha Apollo Hospital in New Delhi. With degrees of MBBS from the MAMC in New Delhi, MD (Medicine), & DM (Cardiology), both from the PGI in Chandigarh. Furthermore, Dr. Kapoor was awarded the fellowships of the UAB Hospital (Non-Invasive Cardiology) in Birmingham. He is also a member of the Indian Academy of Echocardiography (FIAE), International Medical Sciences Academy (FIMSA), European Society of Cardiology (FESC), Indian College of Cardiology (FICC), and the International Society of Cardiac Ultrasound (FISCU). A pioneer in introducing Dobutamine Stress Echo in Delhi in the year 1990, Dr. KK Kapoor has many other ‘firsts’ to his credit. He Introduced the Foetal Echocardiogram in 1990, the Renal Artery Doppler in 1990, Penile Doppler in 1996, and the Adenosine Stress Echo at the Apollo Hospital in 2004.
