Dr. Sharma completed MBBS and MD (Internal Medicine) from LLRM Medical College, Meerut and DM (Gastroenterology) from CMC, Vellore. Prior to joining Jaypee Hospital, he worked at Jaswant Rai Speciality Hospital, Meerut as Director, Consultant Gastroenterology and Hepatology and Head of Endoscopic services.
Clinical Expertise/ Interests:
Dr. Sharma has experience of more than 20 years. Dr. Sharma is pioneer in EUS and has trained over 100 gastroenterologist from India & abroad. He is an authority in endoscopic interventions and has donemore than one lakh endoscopic procedures.
Academic Experience:
Dr. Sharma has more than 60 articles published in various national and international journals to his credit. He is the primary Author of the book- ‘Endoscopic Ultrasound, How To Do?’.
