The Director of the department of Medical Oncology at Jaslok Hospital, Chairman of S L Raheja Hospital and Nanavati Hospital, Dr. Suresh Advani has over 35 years of rich experience in his field. Dr. Suresh Advani is a renowned Mumbai-based Oncologist and pioneered stem cell transplantation in the city of Mumbai along with the rest of India. Dr. Advani is the first Oncologist of the country who successfully transplanted bone marrow into a nine-year-old girl down with myeloid leukemia from her brother. He has always been the man of willpower, diagnosed with poliomyelitis at an early age, Dr. Suresh Advani had never let this come in the way of his medical journey. He obtained the MBBS and MD Medicine degrees from Grant Medical College, Mumbai and then served as Medical Oncologist at Tata Memorial Hospital for many years.
